UTME Subjects Requirements
All admissions into the department are made through JAMB. To be admitted, a candidate seeking admission into the department must possess at least credit passes at one sitting or six credit passes at not more than two sittings at WAEC, GCE, NECO, or approved equivalent.
Acceptable Ordinary Level credit passes include Mathematics, English Language, Economics, and anyone Social Science subject. UTME Subjects should include the Use of English, Mathematics, Economics, and any other Social Science.

For candidates seeking admission into the 3-year program, Advanced Level passes in Economics, and any other social sciences and humanities subject is required for admission.
Preference will also be given to candidates who, in addition to possessing an A/Level pass in Economics, have A/Level passes in any two of the following: Mathematics, Physics, Agricultural Science, Statistics, Geography, Accounting, Business Management, and Government.

Four(4) years UTME and 3 years Direct Entry.
