This is to inform the general public and all Rivers State University (RSU) aspirants that the Department of Biological Sciences Admission requirements has been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Biological Sciences include the following:
- Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and any other Science subject.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics or Mathematics
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Biological Science(s) if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes to include one (1) of Botany, Zoology, Biology, or Chemistry.
- ND/NCE in related program/subject.
