The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Public Administration include the following:
- Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Economics, and Government.
- For NBC holders, the other relevant subjects could be from any of the following: Accounting, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office Practice, and Secretarial Duties.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
UNN requires at least a pass in Mathematics.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language.
- Government
- Economics and any other subject
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Public Administration if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes chosen from Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Government, Geography, and Statistics.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNN for the 2025/2026 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum of 160 or above score in your JAMB result.
