How to Calculate SSU Aggregate Score 2024/2025

Many students struggle to calculate their aggregate score and cut-off mark because it varies by institution.

This article will explain what aggregate and post-UTME scores mean and what factors should be considered before calculating the aggregate score.

    SSU Aggregate Score

Sokoto State University (SSU) is located in Sokoto, Sokoto State in Nigeria. It was established in 2009.

    Meaning of Cut-off Mark

The cut-off mark is an agreed score set by a particular institution as a basis for admitting students into the department of study.

What this means is that when an institution sets its cut-off mark to be 200 in JAMB, and u score 199, they will not admit you because they set their cut-off mark to be 200.

But when u score above 200,  you will have the chance of getting admission into the university.

How to Calculate SSU Aggregate Score

To correctly calculate your aggregate, know that the JAMB Examination is made up of 400 marks, whereas the SSU Post UTME is made 100 marks.

    • Divide your JAMB score by 8,
    • Divide your Post UTME score by  2,
    • Add up the result.
