Admission Requirements for Home Science and Management
WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Home Science and Management are Five (5) SSCE credits in Chemistry, Biology/ Agric Science, Mathematics and at least a pass in English, Physics, General Metal Work, General Wood Work, Building/Engineering Drawing, Furniture Design and Construction.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Home Science and Management at FUGASHUA include Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture and Mathematics or Physics.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Home Science and Management if you do not intend to use UTME.
You require two (2) ‘A’ Level/NCE passes in Chemistry and Biology, Botany, Agric Science, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Geography, or Accounting.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUGASHUA for the 2025/2026 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
