This is to notify the general public and all aspiring students of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) that the Department of Forestry & Wildlife admission requirements has been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Forestry & Wildlife include Five SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Biology, and one subject from below;
- Physics
- Economics
- Further Mathematics
- Statistics
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language
- Chemistry
- Biology or Agricultural Science
- Physics or Mathematics
Direct Entry Requirement
You need to fulfil these conditions to gain Direct Entry admission to study Forestry & WildLife if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two ’A’ level passes in Chemistry, Biology, Agric Science, Zoology, or Botany.
