The general public is thus notified that the administration of Bayero University Kano (BUK) has launched eight new degree programs.
BUK New Degree Programmes
The immediate past administration had initiated the process of introducing new academic programs. It is worthy of mention that the new administration continued with the initiative and completed the process and resource verification, during the period under review, of the following eight (8) new academic programs:
- B.Eng. Automotive Engineering
- BSc Taxation
- BSc Forensic Science
- Doctor of Veterinary Medical Science (DVM)
- BA(Ed) Primary Education
- BA(Ed) Early Childhood Education
- BSc Environmental Health Science
- BSc Meteorology
All the programs were approved at the 384 Meeting of the Senate. The Management has concluded arrangements for the admission of students in all the new programs in the 2025/2026 session.
