    UDUTH Post-Basic Perioperative Nursing Admission Form 2025/2026

    UDUTH invites applications for the 2025/2026 Post Basic Perioperative Nursing Program. The program offers specialized training for registered nurses.

    The application portal opens on 8th May and closes on 14th July 2025. Gain specialized skills in perioperative care at UDUTH.

    Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH), Sokoto, invites eligible candidates to apply for its intensive 12-month Post Basic Perioperative Nursing Program for the academic session of 2025/2026

    This advanced course focuses on patients’ perioperative nursing care needs, with a comprehensive approach towards developing specialist operating theatre nurses.

    Entry Requirements/Conditions

    To be eligible for the Post Basic Perioperative Nursing Program at UDUTH, candidates must fulfil the following prerequisites:

    • Candidates with a BSc in Nursing will be prioritized for admission.
    • It’s important that the Candidate must have at least two (2) years of post-qualification experience as Registered Nurse.
    • Candidates must be duly registered with Nigeria’s Nursing and Midwifery Council and possess a valid practising license.
    • Candidates must have at least five (5) O’level credits in sciences, including English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB, in no more than two (2) sittings.
    • Candidates must present a letter demonstrating their willingness for release/sponsorship from their employer.
    • Candidates should be prepared for full-time study as this program does not allow the merging of courses.

    Method of Application

    Follow these steps to apply for the program:

    1. Pay a sum of Ten Thousand Naira (NGN 10,000.00) into the School of Perioperative Nursing, UDUTH Account via Remita.
    2. Present the original copy of the payment receipt to the school, where login details (Pin Number) will be issued to you.
    3. Visit www.spon.uduth.org.ng to begin the application process.
    4. Print out two (2) copies of the application summary. Submit one (1) copy to the school, along with photocopies of your credentials.

    Important Dates and Selection Process

    The application portal will be open from 8th May 2025 and close on 14th July 2025.

    Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an entrance examination and oral interview, scheduled from 22nd July 2025 to 26th July 2025 at the school premises, starting at 8:00 AM. Candidates must present their original credentials for the oral interview.
