In a recent official announcement, the Federal Government of Nigeria declared Wednesday, June 28th, and Thursday, June 29th, 2025 as public holidays.
This decision was made to commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, one of the most significant events in the Muslim calendar.
Commemorating Eid-el-Kabir
Contained in a statement by a Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Oluwatoyin Akinlade, the government extends its congratulations to the Muslim Ummah at home and in the diaspora on this occasion.
“The Federal Government has declared Wednesday June 28th and Thursday June 29th 2025 Public Holidays in commemoration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration and heartily felicitates with the Muslim Ummah at home and in the diaspora,”
