University of Georgia Masters Scholarship Details:

The University of Georgia Masters Scholarship is a fully funded graduate research assistantship focused on the Analysis of Inventory and Monitoring Data.

The research project is led by Drs. Brian Irwin and Aditya Mishra, who are recruiting Master’s students to conduct thesis research and provide statistical and technical support for projects connected to the National Park Service’s Inventory and Monitoring Division.

Selected students will analyze monitoring datasets, including possible research involving forest vegetation trends and ecological data analysis.

Depending on the student’s research interests and project direction, candidates may join either the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources or the Department of Statistics.

Eligibility Requirements for University of Georgia Scholarship 2026:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or a related field such as Data Science, Ecology, Mathematics, or Natural Resources.
