Two Master’s-level assistantship positions are available at Auburn University, in partnership with the Aquatic Reproductive Physiology Laboratory led by Dr. Ian A.E. Butts.

The selected students will work on research focused on improving indoor rearing systems for aquatic species during their early developmental stages.

The research will involve:

  • Studying developmental, physiological, and behavioral processes,
  • Optimizing environmental conditions such as oxygen levels and lighting.
  • Improving tank design and feeding systems.
  • Conducting both theoretical and applied research.
