Cranfield University Commonwealth Masters Scholarship Details
Cranfield University is one of the institutions participating in the 2027 Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship programme.

Benefits of Commonwealth Masters Scholarship 2027
The scholarship provides the following benefits:
- Full approved tuition fees, covered through an agreement between the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission and the UK university.
- Approved return airfare from the scholar’s home country to the UK.
- A monthly living allowance of £1,712.
- A monthly allowance of £2,000 for scholars studying at universities in the London metropolitan area.
- A study travel grant to support study-related travel within the UK or overseas.
- Child allowance for eligible scholars who are widowed, divorced or single parents.
Eligible scholars with disabilities may also receive an assessment of their needs to determine whether additional financial support is available.
Child Allowance
Eligible scholars with children may receive:
- £622 per month for the first child.
- £154 per month for the second and third child under 16.
The children must be living with the scholar at the same UK address.
How to Apply for Cranfield University Commonwealth Masters Scholarship 2027
The Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship is not applied for directly through the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC). Applicants must first apply through an approved nominating body.
Follow these steps:
- Identify an eligible Commonwealth nominating body in your country.
- Check the nominator’s eligibility requirements and application deadline.
- Apply through one of the approved routes:
- National nominating agencies, which are the main application route.
- Selected non-governmental organisations and charitable bodies.
- Apply for an eligible full-time taught Master’s programme at Cranfield University.
- Ensure that all required documents are submitted according to the instructions of your nominating body.
- If nominated, your application will be forwarded to the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission for consideration.
Each nominating body manages its own selection process and may have additional eligibility requirements or an earlier deadline.
A nomination does not guarantee that the applicant will receive the scholarship. Final selections are made by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission.
