This is to notify the staff and students of Delta State University (DELSU) that Management has directed that all students should proceed on Christmas break on 20th December 2025.
In line with the University’s academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session, students are expected to return to Campus on 5th January 2025, as normal academic activities for the remaining part of the First Semester 2025/2026 session will commence on Monday, 6th January 2025.
Similarly, staff and students are advised to be safety conscious during the festive period.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Andy O. Egwunyenga, on behalf of Management, wishes staff, students, and other members of the University community a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Conclusion
The University’s management has announced the date for the 2025 Christmas break. All staff and students are to adhere strictly to this announcement.
