Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) Fresh Students Registration Procedure For 2024/2025 Academic Session

All newly admitted students of the Federal University of Lokoya should note that the college management has released the registration procedure for the 2024/2025 semester.

Federal University Lokoja Registration Procedure for New Students

Only applicants admitted to the Federal University of Lokoja and accepted on the JAMB e-Facility portal are eligible for registration.

Before starting the process, please review the detailed guidelines below:

Step 1: Accept your offer of admission on the University Portal 

  • Visit the university website (fulokoja.edu.ng) and click on Admissions – Undergraduate – Post-UTME.
  • Log in with your JAMB registration number to confirm your admission status.
  • If successful, click Pay Acceptance Fee to generate a payment invoice with RRR.
  • Successful applicants must generate an admission fee payment invoice from the University’s 2024/2025 admission portal.
  • Acceptance fee of N20,000.00 for payments using RMITA services (card or bank payment): For card payments: visit remita.
  • Click on “Pay Bill,” enter the RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) you generated, and process your payment with the relevant card details.
  • For bank payments: Go to any REMITA bank of your choice and pay using the RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) you generated on your invoice.
  • Return to the University’s 2024/2025 Admission Portal to confirm your payment.
  • Print your Letter of Acceptance and Letter of Commitment

STEP 2: Check O’LEVEL Score

  • Return to the university website (fulokoja.edu.ng) and click on Admissions – Undergraduate – Post-UTME Portal.
  •  Provide your O’level exam details and scratch card details and click Submit O’level.
  • Failure to upload correct O’level exam details or valid, unused exam scratch card details will result in automatic disqualification.
  • Check your University’s email for confirmation in order to proceed with your registration.
  • Once successful, proceed to Step 3.

STEP 3: Pay Tuition Fees

  • Visit the University’s student portal or click Continue to Student Portal to pay your tuition fees.
  • Generate and print tuition fee payment invoices from the University student portal.
  • Pay your tuition fees using REMITA services (card or bank payment) by following the instructions on the generated payment invoice: For card payment: visit remita.net, click on “Pay Invoice,” enter the RRR (Remita Recycling Reference) you generated, and process your payment using the relevant card details.
  • For bank payments: Go to any REMITA bank of your choice and pay using the RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) you generated on your invoice.
  • Return to the University website and click on Student Portal in the Students section to confirm your payment.
  • Once payment is confirmed, print your tuition receipt and keep it.
  • Fill in your data on the registration form (Forms 01 – 06) available on the University Portal, print and save.

*Note: It is recommended that you retain all printed materials, as you will be required to submit them when registering.

Step 4: To Be Carried Out on Resumption

  • Medical Certificate of Fitness: Visit the University Health Services Centre for your medical fitness test.
  • Course Registration: Visit the University website and click on Student – Undergraduate – Student Portal – Course Registration to complete your Course Registration online.
  • Check your Student Portal – Printout – Course Form for the status of your course registration.

Step 5: Clearance

The University runs 2 (two) campuses, Adankolo Campus and Felele Campus (Permanent Site). The Faculty of Science is located at the Adankolo Campus, while the Faculties of Arts, Education, Management Sciences, and Social Sciences are located at the Felele Campus.

Visit your Department and submit the documents listed below to your Departmental Administrative Officer:

  • Acceptance Fee E-Payment Receipt
  • A copy of the Online School Charges Receipt stamped by the Bursary Department
  • Federal University Lokoja Admission Letter
  • Form 01 (STUDENT BIO-DATA FORM) online printout
  • JAMB Result Slip (online printout) – for UTME Candidates
  • JAMB Admission Letter (Duplicate for Institution use only)
  • Previous Institution Record (Statement of Result/Certificate) – for DE Candidates
  • O’level Result(s) (Online Print-out)
  • Signed Letter of Undertaken (original copy)
  • Certificate of Local Government of Origin (If Non-Nigerian, Residence Permit)
  • Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
  • Ten (10) recent Passport Photograph with red background
  • Medical Certificate of Fitness from the University Health Services Centre only
  • Completed Course Registration Forms printed from the University portal

Failure to present the above documents will lead to the withdrawal of the offer of admission.

Submit a copy of your STUDENT BIO-DATA FORM (Form 01) and the online School Charges Receipt to each of the Units listed below:

  • Students Affairs Division
  • University Library
  • Sports Unit
  • University Health Services Centre
  • University Counseling Centre
  • Security Unit

CAUTION:

  • Beware of impostors who interact or send you an SMS with promise(s) Of assistance in the area of admission, results, accommodation, etc. Federal university lokoja maintains the best ethical practices in handling student matters.
  • Beware of fraudsters lurking around cafes or on & off campus in handling your ATM card details.
  • Report any fraudulent act or suspicious activities to the security Unit, federal university lokoja
