This is to inform the general public and the all Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA) aspirants that the Department of Building Admission requirements has been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Building include Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry and any one subject from below:
- Geography
- Economics
- Arts and Technical drawing
- For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects should be from the subjects below:
- Introduction to Building Construction
- Bricklaying
- Concreting
- Walls, Floors, and Ceiling Finishing
- Building/Engineering Drawing
- Joinery
- Carpentry
- Gas, Steam Work, and Bronze Welding
- Cold/Hot Water Supply
- Sanitation and Drainage
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to the study Building if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
