This is to inform the general public that the admission requirements for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Ibadan Polytechnic (IBADAN POLY) have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Mechanical Engineering Technology include the following:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry and any one subject from:
- Biology/Agricultural Science
- Technical Drawing,
- Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity
- Auto Mechanics
- Metal Work
- Further Mathematics
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language and any three subjects below:
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Physics/Technical
- Drawing.
JAMB Score
For any candidate to be admitted to any Department in the University of Lagos, the Candidate must score 150 and above in JAMB.
