This is to inform the general public that the admission requirements for the Department of Science Laboratory Technology at the Ibadan Polytechnic (IBADAN POLY) have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Science Laboratory Technology include the following:
- Mathematics and two subjects from:
- Physics
- Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science
- Chemistry
- And two more subjects from:
- Technical Drawing,
- Metal or Wood Work, Basic Electricity
- Geography
- Further Mathematics
- Fine Art
- At least a credit pass in each of the three basic sciences – Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and a credit pass English Language is compulsory.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics or Mathematics
JAMB Score
For any candidate to be admitted to any Department in the University of Lagos, the Candidate must score 150 and above in JAMB.
