This is to inform the general public that the admission requirements for the Statistics department at the Ibadan Polytechnic (IBADAN POLY) have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Statistics include the following:
- Mathematics
- Basic science and three other subjects are chosen from the following:
- Economics
- Geography
- Government/History
- Further Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology/Agricultural Science
- English Language
- Typewriting
- Credit passes in English Language, and Physics are compulsory
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language and any three subjects below:
- Economics/Commerce
- History/Government
- CRK/IRK
- Mathematics
IBADANPOLY JAMB Cut-Off Mark
For any candidate to be admitted to any Department at the Ibadan Polytechnic (IBADAN POLY), the Candidate must score 150 and above in JAMB.
