We are extremely excited to recruit a Library and Think Space Host to join our Rapport team. The host will be based at our new client’s offices in the City of London, 40 Leadenhall, London. The space is uniquely designed for forward-thinking companies, people, and ideas.

This is the ideal role for someone who is passionate about books and can spark immediate Rapport with guests when they arrive at the library.

You will be integral to a highly professional team that delivers outstanding service and memorable experiences.  This is a part-time, permanent role (32 hours per week). You will work from Monday to Thursday on a shift rota between 8 AM and 7 PM (with flexibility as per the client’s needs).

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a seamless and personal guest journey
  • Welcoming guests to the library
  • Acting upon all requests that guests might have in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Looking after the book collation at 40 Leadenhall
  • Auditing the collection every quarter.
  • Processing returns, keeping the displays organized and presentable.
  • Facilitating borrowing – by being the subject matter expert and champion of the space
  • We want someone to take ownership, be the ‘face’ of the library, and think space.
  • Keeping the online catalog up to date
  • Supported the events and engagement manager with events and activations in the space.
  • Curating monthly book displays in line with the monthly themes and focuses of the events and engagement calendar.
