Qualifications
- Must have a Masters or Doctorate Degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
- Must hold an active Special Education Washington State teaching license
Responsibilities
- Modifying and selecting lesson plans and materials to meet individual/classroom needs
- Administrating evaluations of student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Helping build a positive and encouraging atmosphere that is conducive for student learning
- Affective communication between faculty, parents, and students
