    Job Description

    A study of the interconnections among gender, race, region, indigeneity, class, and other factors at work in constructing nationalisms and other identities within a Canadian context. Topics may include critically examining multiculturalism, aboriginal history, immigration, maternity, sexuality, religion, and representation.

    • Qualifications – Required: Master’s Degree (MA)
    • Qualifications – Discipline: Women & Gender Studies or cognate discipline.
    • Qualifications – Areas of Specialization: Thorough knowledge of intersectional feminist analysis in a Canadian context, including, but not limited to, indigeneity, gender, race, class, and sexuality.
    • Salary: $9206.40 (subject to CA article 25.2)

The PCAF is a separate form that is due within five days of the email notification of posted courses and is submitted via Qualtrics. Refer to this notification for the link to the PCAF. Members who do not submit a PCAF may apply for a posted course through a separate application for each course. Refer to the collective agreement for additional information on the PCAF.

    For Supplementary Remuneration for large classes or multi-section courses, see Article 28.3. Pursuant to Article 13.5 of the Collective Agreement for Contract Teaching Faculty (CTF) and Part-time Librarians, all applicants shall apply electronically.
