It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in KASU to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.
The Kaduna State University was established under the Kaduna State Law Number 3 promulgated on 21st May 2004. The promulgation resulted from the obvious and felt need to boost higher education in the State and the country in general.
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Biology;
You require; Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Maths/Physics

n UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Biology under the Faculty of Sciences in the above Universities include;
Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Biology if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
- Two A, level passes from Chemistry, Biology, Botany/Zoology.
- NCE is accepted with at least a merit-level pass.
Jamb Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into KASU for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
