    It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered at KASU to carefully confirm and see if the course they selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

    About KASU

    The Kaduna State University (KASU) is located in Kaduna State, Nigeria.

    It was established in 2004 as part of a motivated effort to expand the frontiers of learning in a bid to expand the aspirations of Nigerians.

    Admission Requirements for Hausa

    WAEC/NECO Subject Combination

    The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Hausa is Five (5) SSCE credits which should include English Language and Hausa.

    JAMB Subject Combination

    In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.

    Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Hausa at KASU include Hausa, Literature-in-English and any in Economics, Government, History, or Arabic.

    Direct Entry Requirement

    These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Hausa if you do not intend to use UTME.

    You require two (2) ‘A’ Level/NCE passes in Hausa and any other relevant subjects.

    JAMB Score

    All candidates interested in getting admitted into KASU for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
