Details of Kentucky State University Graduate Assistantship
The School of Aquaculture and Aquatic Science at Kentucky State University is recruiting a graduate research assistant to join the laboratory of Dr. Patrick Erbland.
The selected student will conduct research aimed at understanding fish feeding behavior and developing innovative feeding technologies for aquaculture systems.
Research activities will include:
- Monitoring fish behavior to estimate appetite levels
- Developing automated feeding technologies
- Designing and testing prototype feeding systems
- Working with low-cost sensing technologies such as video, motion, and audio systems
- Participating in laboratory and field-based aquaculture research
