KSUSTA Registration Procedure For 2024/2025 Fresh Students

The Kebbi State University of Science and Technology (KSUSTA) procedures for registration for newly admitted students have been released.

The management of KSUSTA is imploring all newly admitted students to check for the procedures and follow in order of arrangement.

KSUSTA Registration Procedure for Fresh Students

Below are the step–by–step procedures. Students are advised to follow the procedure to ease their registration process seriously.

  • Visit the University Portal to Print Admission Status after receiving a notification from the University via SMS. Log in using your details and follow the link to print Admission Status Letter.
  • Proceed to Ecobank Nig. Ltd and deposit ₦200 into 4002006157, then report to the Registration Center with the Bank teller.
  • You will be issued three Students Registration Files and expected to make photocopies of all your credentials, including your UTME/DE Result slip, JAMB Online Admission Letter, and Admission Status Letter, and insert them into each file.
  • After filling out the front page of the files, you will be required to present the originals of your Credentials for screening.
  • Meet with officers responsible for the activation of Students and issuing of “Confirmation of Admission” letter for your Faculty.
  • Make sure you come with your Original credentials. The authenticity of your documents will be verified during the screening.
    • Once a candidate is verified, his/her Confirmation of Admission Letter will be issued, and a duplicate copy should be submitted to the Admission Officer after signing the undertaking.
    • For candidates who may wish to defer their admission, this will be their stoppage point. Contact the Admission Officer for more information on Deferment of Admission to the next session.
  • After issuance of Confirmation of Admission, students should visit the University portal and log in.
  • Click on Payment Invoice to generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code for the Registration Fee. On the displayed RRR code page, click on Print and proceed to any Bank Nationwide for payment.
    • Any Non-Indigene Student who decides to generate an invoice by claiming to be Kebbi State Indigene will end up paying for double registration after being verified by the Deputy Bursar, Student Affairs.
  • After making payment, return to the University portal and log in with your details to do online Registration.
  • Click on Bio-Data, and a drop-down menu will appear, prompting you to enter your RRR Code for verification and also to have access to your Bio-Data and Course Registration Forms (CRF).
  • Once done, you will fill in all relevant entries in the Bio-Data Form and click SAVE.
  • Click on Courses Registration to open the form and Add/Delete Courses according to your Departmental Registration Guidelines. Then click on Save the CRF to Print out Registration forms as your next step.
    • Print the following forms and submit them to the concerned Units/Offices for signing where necessary.
      • Course Registration Form (CFR),
      • Physical Examination Form,
      • Pre-Registration Medical Examination Report
      • Student Bio-Data Form (Form 02)
  • All these forms are to be printed in at least six copies. You may wish to ask any Registration officer for more details.
  • Ensure you click LOG OUT from your profile page whenever you log in.
  • Students are expected to proceed to the Student Affairs Division to verify their payment and ensure that their evidence of payment is duly signed and stamped by the Accountant, Student Affairs Division.
  • Students are expected to report to the University Clinic with the evidence of payment for NHIS along with the Physical Examination Form and Pre-Registration Medical Examination Report Form for registration.
  • Students are expected to report to the University’s Main Library to register and obtain Book Borrowers Tickets and Identity tags/cards.
  • After signing with all the relevant Units, you are expected to photocopy the following:
    • JAMB Online Admission Letter
    • Confirmation of Admission
    • JAMB Result slip
    • Admission Status
  • Insert into all three files and proceed to Academic Division for signing with the Academic Secretary and submission of all the files.

KSUSTA Registration Procedure for Returning Students

This is a Registration Guide for Undergraduate Returning Students.

These procedures have been arranged step–by–step. Students are strongly advised to follow the procedure to ease their registration process, while registration can be done anywhere.

  • Returning Students should visit the University portal and log in using their Admission Number as their Username and Password.

Ensure you change your Password after the first Login, and always click on LOG OUT from your profile page whenever you log in.

  • On successful login, a page will be displayed on your left-hand side and click on Payment Invoice to generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code for the Registration Fee. 
  • On the RRR code page displayed, click Print and proceed to any Bank Nationwide for payment.

Any Non-Indigene Student who decides to generate an invoice by claiming to be Kebbi State Indigene will end up paying for double registration after being verified by the Deputy Bursar, Student Affairs.

  • After making payment, return to the University portal and Login with your details to do online Registration.
  • Click on Bio-Data, and a drop-down menu will appear, prompting you to enter your RRR Code for verification and also to have access to your Bio-Data and Course Registration Forms (CRF).
  • Once it is down, you will fill in all relevant entries in the Bio-Data Form and click SAVE.
  • Click on Courses Registration to open the form and Add/Delete Courses according to your Departmental Registration Guidelines. Then click on Save the CRF and Print out the Registration forms as your next step.
  • You are expected to print the Course Registration Form (CFR) and Student Bio-Data Form (Form 02), print them out accordingly and submit them to the concerned Units/Offices/Departments for signing where necessary.
  • All these forms are to be printed in at least six copies. You may wish to contact your level Departmental Registration officer for more details.
  • After signing with all the relevant Units, you are expected to submit one copy each to your Departmental Level Registration Coordinator.
  • Keep one copy each as your personal copy and submit all the remaining forms to the Faculty Registration Officer at the Office of the Dean for onward distribution to Student Affairs, Academic Division and the Faculty Office.
