Admission Requirements for Agronomy
WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Agronomy are English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry and of Physics, Geography or Economics.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Agronomy at NSUK are Biology, Chemistry, Agric and Physics or Mathematics.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Agronomy if you do not intend to use UTME.
You require two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry/Biology/Zoology/Botany/Agricultural Science plus one in Physics/Mathematics and Geology/ Economics.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into NSUK for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
