SJLP Rhodes Scholarship Details:

The Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine (SJLP) Rhodes Scholarship is designed to support outstanding students from the four eligible countries who wish to undertake postgraduate study at the University of Oxford.

The scholarship was established through a partnership between the Rhodes Trust and the Saïd Foundation, with the first SJLP Rhodes Scholars arriving at Oxford in 2017.

The programme seeks candidates who demonstrate exceptional academic ability as well as the qualities associated with the wider Rhodes Scholarship community. Successful scholars become members of the international Rhodes community while studying at Oxford.

Two scholarships are awarded each year, and one of the available awards is reserved exclusively for a Syrian candidate.
