PHC Finance Officer

Job Description

  • Ensure accurate preparation of bank reconciliation.
  • Enter all payments from suppliers, the cafeteria, and the pharmacy into designated databases.
  • Ensure proper preparation of payment vouchers with support of waybills and invoices and follow SFH policies on payment.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all retirements and third-party payments.

Research Field Supervisor

Job Profile

  • The successful candidates will provide support data management and quality assurance under the CRADLE device study on the Gates2 MNCH project in Gombe State.

Job-role

  • Collect quantitative data and summarize findings weekly.
  • Train village health workers on data collection and appropriate application of blood pressure monitoring devices.
  • Collate and enter quantitative data.
  • Validate and ensure quality by reviewing registers, other primary data collection tools, and back-checks.
  • Support all other routine data collection, reporting, implementation, and dissemination of information from the CRADLE study.
  • Hold regular meetings with VHWs and visit health facilities to solve data management issues as they arise.
  • Be willing to work in any of the following wards; Akko, Balanga, or Gombe LGAs.
  • Support the project in informed decision-making as it concerns the CRADLE study.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, or related field.
  • Passion for field research and demonstrable experience managing data collectors.
  • At least one (1) year of experience participating in FGDs and KIIs.
  • The ability to speak the Hausa language fluently would be a major asset, with the ability to clearly communicate data findings and ideas to diverse audiences as a plus.
  • Experience with MS Office package
  • Must be a resident of Gombe
