This is to notify the general public and all Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) aspirants that the Department of Business Education admission requirements have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Business Education include the following:
- Five (5) TC II merit, ‘O’ Level or NTC/NBC credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and two (2) other subjects in the Social Sciences or Arts. For NBC, the other subjects could be from any of the following: Commerce, Office Practice, Principles of Accounts, Secretarial Duties, Typewriting, and Shorthand.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Economics and any one (1) subject from below:
- Literature in English
- History
- Government
- Geography
- Chemistry
- Physics
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Business Education if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes or NCE merit in two (2) relevant subjects
- NCE merit in Business Education Double Major
