
This is to inform the general public that the management of the University Of Ibadan (UI) has published the admission requirements for her Department of Archaeology For her admission aspirants.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

O’level Subject Combinations
Candidates who wish to study Archaeology at the University Of Ibadan (UI) must possess Five ‘O’ level subjects in one sitting or 6 ‘O’ level subjects in two sittings, including English Language, two Arts subjects and two others from Arts or Social Sciences. Commerce, Business Studies, Book Keeping, Accounting and Civic Education are unacceptable.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
English Language, two Arts subjects and any other from Arts or Social Sciences. Commerce, Business Studies, Book Keeping, Accounting and Civic Education are not acceptable.
UI JAMB Cut-Off Mark
Generally, For any candidate to be admitted into the University Of Ibadan (UI) for any course at all, the candidate must score 200 and above in jamb. That is to say that the University Of Ibadan (UI) JAMB Cut-Off mark is 200.
UI Department Of Archaeology Departmental Cut-Off Mark
The UI Department of Archaeology Departmental Cut Off Mark is 180. That is to say that, Candidates who seek admission to the University Of Ibadan (UI) Department of Anthropology must score 180 and above in the school UTME Screening exercise.
