Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education & Economics include the following:
- Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Economics, and Mathematics.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remark
UNIBEN requires any other Social Science subject in addition to Economics.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Economics
- Mathematics and one other subject from Geography/Physics, History, Government, and Literature in English.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Economics if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and one other relevant subject.
- NCE credit/merit level passes in Economics and one other subject.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIBEN for the 2025/2026 session should know that you must have scored 200 or above in your JAMB result to be eligible for the screening.
