The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education & Religious Studies include the following:
Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes or TC II merit in five (5) subjects including English Language, Religious Studies, and three (3) other Arts subjects.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language
- Two (2) Arts subjects, including Religious studies, and one (1) other subject.
Direct Entry Requirement
You need to fulfill these conditions to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Religious Studies if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes/NCE merit in Religious Studies and one (1) other Arts subject.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNIBEN for the 2024/2025 session should know that you must have scored 200 or above in your JAMB result to be eligible for the screening.
