This is to notify the general public and all aspiring students of the University of Jos, (UNIJOS) that the Department of Dentistry & Dental Surgery admission requirements have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Dentistry And Dental Surgery include the following:
Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
UNIJOS, UNICAL, UNN, UNIBEN, UNILAG, and OAU require Physics as the other science subject.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language.
- Three (3) ‘A’ level passes to include Chemistry, Biology/Zoology, and Physics.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
UNIJOS accepts;
- Passes in IJMB/‘A’ Level in Physics, Chemistry, and Zoology or Biology.
- Candidates must also have obtained five (5) ‘0’ level credit passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Zoology, English Language, and Mathematics.
