This is to inform the general public and all University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) aspirants that the Department of Adult & Non-Formal Education admission requirements have been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Pharmacy include the following:
- Five ‘SSCE credits, including English and Mathematics or TC II, with a pass in English and at least 4 other subjects from below:
- Literature In English
- History
- French
- Yoruba
- Igbo
- Hausa
- CRK
- Islamic Studies
- Geography/Physics
- Economics
- Government
- Mathematics
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remark
- UNIPORT requires a five O’ level credit pass in English Language, the teaching subject, and any other three.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Government/History, one Social Science subject, and any other subject.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Adult and Non-Formal Education if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two ‘A’ level passes
- NCE with passes in two subjects at merit level
