University of Uyo (UNIUYO) Closure of Portal for the Second Semester for 2025/2026 Session

The management of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) wishes to inform all students about the impending closure of the student portal for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.

    UNIUYO

    End of Registration with Penalty

The registration period, which is currently running with a penalty, will officially end on Friday, 23rd June 2026. All students who have yet to finalize their registration for the second semester are advised to do so before the stipulated date.

    Extension of Registration Period

Following the closure of the registration period with a penalty, the Vice-Chancellor has graciously approved an extension of registration. This extension begins on Saturday, 24th June 2026, and will last until Sunday, 9th July 2026.

    Portal Closure

The student portal for the second-semester registration will officially be closed on Sunday, 9th July 2026. After this date, students will no longer be able to register for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.

    Implications of Non-Registration

Students who fail to register within the period of grace, from 24th June 2026 to 9th July 2026, will have to suspend their studies formally. Failing to do so will lead to the assumption that they have voluntarily withdrawn from the University.

    Call to Action

The management of the University of Uyo calls on all students to take this notice very seriously.

The registration process is crucial to formalize student enrollment for the semester. Students need to comply with these directives to avoid unnecessary academic complications.

The university community is urged to take note of these dates and spread the information to ensure that every student is duly informed and takes the necessary action.

For further enquiries and assistance with the registration process, students are advised to reach out to the IT Support Services or visit the academic affairs office of the University.

    Conclusion

UNIUYO students should complete their registration before the specified deadline to enable a smooth transition into the new academic year.

Remember meeting deadlines and staying proactive are crucial to securing your place at UNIUYO.
