Time Frame for Post UTME Screening

Candidates who have appeared for the 2024/2025 UTME are invited to partake in the Post UTME Screening process scheduled between Monday, 11th September 2024 and Friday, 13th October 2024, conducted online.

UNIABUJA Post UTME and Direct Entry Eligibility Criteria

To be deemed eligible, candidates should fulfill the following conditions:

  • Hold relevant O’ Level qualifications obtained in no more than two sittings.
  • Have secured a minimum score of 180 in the 2024/2025 UTME.
  • Have either selected the University of Abuja as their primary choice of institution during the UTME registration or switched to it afterward.
  • For Direct Entry applicants, uploading both O’ Level and Higher Level qualifications onto the University’s portal and attending the screening exercise is mandatory.

Step-by-Step Guide on How to Apply for UNIABUJA Post UTME

Processing Fee and Payment Method

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must remit a non-refundable processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only).

This fee will be paid via the Remita Platform, accessible through the official University of Abuja Post-UTME Screening Portal.

Detailed Application Procedure

  • Navigate to UNIABUJA’s Official Portal and select “Click here to apply.”
  • Proceed by clicking the link designated for Undergraduate applications.
  • Enter the JAMB Registration Number and select “Get details.”
  • Complete the basic information page, ensuring the phone number and email address are valid. Proceed by clicking “Next.”
  • At the payment review stage, click “Generate RRR,” redirecting you to another page.
  • Finalize by clicking “Submit,” which guides you to the Remita payment page.
  • Input your ATM card details (Mastercard or Visa) and proceed with the payment.
  • Enter the OTP sent to you to complete the payment process.
  • Upon successful payment, return to the main login page on the portal. Input your JAMB registration number and surname to gain access.
  • Once logged in, complete the “Application form” to finalize your registration.
  • Print out the payment receipt, complete the registration form, and exam schedule for your records.

If payment is unsuccessful due to network issues, you can request your payment attempt. Use your JAMB registration number to retrieve your details and proceed as directed.
