The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Nursing/Nursing Science include the following:
- Five (5) SSCE credit passes in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English Language
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language.
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Nursing/Nursing Science if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- ‘A’ Level passes in any two (2) Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
- ND Upper Credit in Prosthesis and Orthopaedic Technology.
- Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Biology/ Zoology, Chemistry, and Physics plus three (3) other ‘O’ Level credit pass in Mathematics, Physics, and English Language.
- NRN or its approved equivalent plus five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language and four (4) Science subjects chosen from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Human Anatomy, Physiology and Hygiene, Health Science, Further Mathematics, and General Science.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into UNN for the 2025/2026 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have a minimum of 160 or above score in your JAMB result.
