    Veritas University Lecturer Escapes From Kidnappers Den

    The report reaching our desk at RealMina says that the Head of the Department in Veritas University who was abducted has escaped from the kidnapper’s den.

    Dr. John Adole, Head of Department, History and International Relations at Veritas University, Abuja, has regained his independence.

    Adole was abducted by gunmen in Otukpo, Otukpo Local Government Area of ​​Benue State on Sunday. Three other people, including Benue State University professor Makurdi, have reportedly escaped and were abducted during the attack.

    As information was gathered, the lecture escaped from his captors on Monday. University of Veritas spokeswoman Evelyn Obekpa confirmed this to our correspondent on Tuesday.

    He said, “Dr. John Adole, Head, Department of History and International Relations, Veritas University, Abuja, abducted in Otukpo, Benue State, on Sunday, May 1, 2022, has been released from the kidnapping squad.
