The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Urban & Regional Planning include Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Geography and three other subjects from below:
- English Language
- Economics/Commerce
- Fine Art/Technical Drawing
- Further Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Biology/Agricultural Science
- History/Government
- Business Methods/Bookkeeping and Principles of Accounting
- At least a credit pass in English Language is compulsory
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Geography and two other subjects from the course requirement
Direct Entry Requirement
- YABATECH requires credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, one subject from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Agricultural Science, and any other from Government, Statistics, Fine Art/Technical Drawing, History, Commerce, Further Mathematics/Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into YABATECH for the 2025/2026 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 150 or above in your JAMB result.
