O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Music; You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes, including Music and English Language.
Jamb Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Music under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above Universities include;
Music, one (1) other Arts subject plus any other subject.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
- LASU accepts Music plus any two (2) other subjects.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Music if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ level passes to include Music.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
- NCE merit in Music Education, Music Technology/Music from recognized institutions.
- ND Music/Music Technology
- (a) and (b) in addition to five (5)’ O’ level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings to include English Language and any combination of Arts and Sciences.
Jamb Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into LASU for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 160 or above in your JAMB result.
