This is to inform the general public that the management of the University Of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka, has published the admission requirements for her Department of Electrical Engineering admission aspirants.
The admission requirements consist of O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
About UNN
The University of Nigeria was the first full-fledged indigenous and first autonomous University in Nigeria modelled upon the American educational system. It is the first land-grant university in Africa and one of Nigeria’s five most reputed universities.
The University has 15 Faculties and 102 academic departments. The University offers 82 undergraduate programs and 211 postgraduate programs.
The University celebrated its 50th anniversary on October 2010
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Electrical Engineering; You require;
Five SSCE credit passes, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English Language.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Electrical Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology in the above Universities include Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
