The management of the Federal University of Lokoja (FULOKOJA) has announced the schedule for the 11th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session.
This ceremony officially marks students’ admission into full university community membership.
Date and Time
The matriculation ceremony will occur on Tuesday, June 27, 2025, starting at 4:00 pm.
Venue
The ceremony will be held at the University Auditorium, College of Health Sciences (COHS) Campus, Lokoja.
Order of Events
Matriculants, who are expected to be robed in their academic gowns, should assemble at the School of Post-Graduate Studies (SPGS) parking lot by 2:30 pm. From here, they will join the procession to the matriculation venue by 3:00 pm.
Please note that no matriculant will be allowed to join the procession once it commences or go in and out of the Matriculation Hall from 3:30 pm.
Only matriculants in academic gowns will be admitted into the Matriculation Hall.
Fresh Students Orientation Exercise
In addition to the matriculation ceremony, the Fresh Students Orientation Exercise has been scheduled for Saturday, June 24, and Monday, June 26, 2025.
The following categories of students are advised to report at the University Auditorium, College of Health Sciences (COHS), Adankolo Campus, Lokoja, by 10:00 am prompt:
- Batch A Fresh Students,
- Batch B Fresh Students, and
- Batch C Fresh Students
The orientation exercise aims to familiarize fresh students with the university environment, rules and regulations, and available facilities.
The Vice-Chancellor extends a warm welcome to all matriculants and wishes them remarkable success in their academic pursuits.
The entire university community and the public are invited to join this momentous occasion.
