The registration procedure for all candidates who have been admitted into the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) School of Basic and Remedial Studies (SBRS) programs for the 2025/2026 academic session is out.

After releasing the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Basic (IJMB) and Remedial programs admission list, the management of the institution has issued the registration procedure for 2025/2026 newly admitted candidates.
ABU Remedial & IJMB Registration Procedure
Registration begins on Monday, 21st February 2025.
Lectures will commence on Monday, 7th March 2025.
Stage 1
All admitted students are expected to present their downloaded application forms for verification at the School gate.
Stage 2
When verified, you proceed to C15 for BIO DATA SCREENING. At this point, you will be required to present the ORIGINALS and at least three (3) photocopies of the following:
- Downloaded Application form.
- Primary School Leaving Certificate
- Local Government Indigene Certificate
- O/Level Result(s)
- Birth Certificate(Declaration of age is only accepted in the absence of a birth certificate)
Stage 3
Proceed to Geography Laboratory for ACADEMIC SCREENING. You will be expected to present the original and endorsed copies of your documents. After the screening, you will be issued with a customized bank teller.
Stage 4
Proceed to the School Multimedia Centre and collect your Admission Letter.
Stage 5
At the School Multimedia Centre, you will be informed of the procedure of payment of registration fees. The fees are as follows:
Remedial: ₦90,400.00
IJMB (BASIC):₦94,400.00
Stage 6
Return to Geography Laboratory and collect your school’s official receipt and then Proceed to the academic registration desk in the same venue to complete the Academic Registration forms. You are to submit a photocopy of your admission letter at this point, and you will be given SBRS Registration Number.
Stage 7
Proceed to a Security office, with two recent passport-size photographs (in white background), for ID card processing.
Stage 8
Proceed to the Student Affairs Unit for accommodation.
Stage 9
Finally, proceed to Central Store to collect your reading materials (Remedial students only).
