    Overview of Admission Requirements

The university has delineated clear academic thresholds for programs such as B.Sc. Nursing Science, B.Sc. Public Health, and B.Sc. Environmental Health Science. Aspiring students must now meet these criteria to secure their places in these competitive and critical fields of study.

    B.Sc. Nursing Science

Candidates seeking to enroll in the B.Sc. Nursing Science program must demonstrate academic proficiency by achieving a minimum of 200 points in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME.

This is in addition to securing five credits at the SSCE level, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics in no more than two sittings.

    B.Sc. Public Health

For the B.Sc. Public Health course, the university has set a cut-off point of 180, alongside the requirement of five SSCE credits.

These prerequisites underscore the university’s adherence to rigorous standards in preparing students to tackle health challenges with evidence-based knowledge and skills.

    B.Sc. Environmental Health Science

Similarly, entry into the B.Sc. Environmental Health Science demands a 180 cut-off point.

Prospective students must also have five SSCE credit passes, reflecting the program’s interdisciplinary nature, which blends scientific knowledge with environmental policy and public health principles.

    Next Steps for Applicants

The Federal University Dutse encourages all interested candidates to promptly visit the JAMB office or a certified CBT center to adjust their institution choice or program of study as needed.

The deadline for these changes is earmarked for 30th November 2025, ensuring applicants can finalize their admission processes efficiently.

    Important Notice

It is crucial for applicants to act swiftly to align with the new admission guidelines and seize the opportunity to be part of Federal University Dutse’s enriching academic environment.
