With a population of 1.379 Billion people and the second largest economy in the world, China stands head and shoulders above most countries around the world in terms of ancient culture meeting modern technology.

The Land of Kung Fu, stir-fried rice, and an endless entrepreneurial flair, China is a place also rich in business opportunities. It is common knowledge now that many Nigerians have flocked there over the years, mostly searching for an economic fortune.

Nigerians love to travel but have found getting visa’s often scary. However, we believe that proper understanding makes success possible and highly probable. You’ve seen the movies, and you’ve eaten the food. Now it’s time to experience it for yourself.

Here’s What You Need to know on How to Apply for a China Visa

First, you must know what category of visa you are applying for. The reason is every category has different requirements. Some are subject to less scrutiny than others, so you must know what the purpose of your trip is and model your application toward that.

You also need to know China issues visas that allow single, double, or multiple entries; the last two allow you to exit from the Chinese mainland and re-enter using the same visa as long as it is valid.

Visa Fees

These fees depend more on the entries than on the visa type

  1. Single Entry: N14,000
  2. Double Entry (6 months): N21,000
  3. Multiple Entry (6 months): N28,000
  4. Multiple Entry (1 year): N42,000

In that case, you must provide the original and photocopy of your valid certificates or visa of stay, residence, employment, or student status, or other valid certificates of legal staying provided by the relevant authorities of the country where you are currently staying.
  • Suppose you have obtained Chinese visas before and want to apply for a Chinese visa with a renewed passport that does not contain any Chinese visa.
