The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education/Mechanical Technology include the Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics and one (1) subject from below:
- Biology /Agricultural Science
- Physics, or Chemistry, and two (2) more subjects from below;
- General Science/Integrated Science
- Technical Drawing/Fine Art
- Geography
- Health Science Food and Nutrition
- Physical and Health Education
- Auto Technical
- Building, Electrical Electronic
- Metal Work and Wood Work
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics and any other subject
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Operations Research if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and any one (1) in Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Economics, or Geography.
- ND credit in Statistics or Mathematics.
