The admission requirements consist of O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

O’level Subject Combinations
Candidates who wish to study Dentistry at the University Of Ibadan (UI) must possess Five O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Generally, For any candidate to be admitted into the University Of Ibadan (UI) for any course at all, the candidate must score 200 and above in jamb. That is to say that the University Of Ibadan (UI) JAMB Cut-Off mark is 200.
UI Department Of Dentistry Departmental Cut-Off Mark
The UI Department of Dentistry’s Departmental Cut-Off Mark is 250. That is to say that, Candidates who seek admission to the University Of Ibadan (UI) Department of Dentistry must score 250 and above in the school UTME Screening exercise.
