The admission requirements consist of O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

O’level Subject Combinations
Candidates who wish to study Architecture at the University Of Ibadan (UI) must possess Five ‘O’ level subjects at one sitting or 6 ‘O’ level subjects in 2 sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) in one sitting or three (3) at two sittings from the following: Fine Arts/Technical Drawing, Economics/Geography, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Building Construction, Land Surveying, Biology and Agricultural Science.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
English Language, Physics, Mathematics and Geography or Economics.
UI JAMB Cut-Off Mark
Generally, For any candidate to be admitted into the University Of Ibadan (UI) for any course, the candidate must score 200 and above in jamb. That is to say that the University Of Ibadan (UI) JAMB Cut-Off mark is 200.
UI Department Of Architecture Departmental Cut-Off Mark
The UI Department of Architecture’s Departmental Cut-Off Mark is 240. That is to say that, Candidates who seek admission to the University Of Ibadan (UI) Department of Architecture must score 240 and above in the school UTME Screening exercise.
