The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Building Technology include Five SSCE credits in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry and any one subject from below:
- Geography
- Economics
- Arts and Technical drawing
- For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building/Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold/Hot Water Supply, Sanitation, and Drainage.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Building Technology if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
