    Bells Tech’s academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session has been approved by the school’s Senate committee.

    Student and prospective students should possess a copy of the school’s academic calendar, as it contains essential information.

    Bells Tech Academic Calendar for the 2024/2025 Session

    The official academic calendar of the 2024/2025 session has been released by the school for the upcoming academic year.

    Below is the official academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session;

    First Semester (16th October – 31st March 2025)

    20th September – Approval of Curricular Courses

    29th September – Senate Meeting

    4th October – Postgraduate Board Meeting

    11th October – Departmental Board Meetings

    12th October – Leadership Training

    16th October – Return of Stale Students back to campus

    17th -28th October – Commencement of lectures and Signing of course forms, Return of postgraduate students.

    18th October – Committee of Deans and Directors Meeting 

    19th October – Students Disciplinary Committee Meeting

    20th October – Campus Development Committee Meeting, Congregation Meeting

    27th October – Senate Meeting

    28th October – End of Course Registration for 300-500 Level and Postgraduate Students (Registration Portal Closure (12.00 Midnight))

    29th October-11th November – Commencement and End of Late Course Registration for 300-500Level and Postgraduate Students

    31st October-4th November  –  Convocation Week

    5th November  – 14th Convocation for the Award of Degrees and Special Prizes

    7th November – Postgraduate Board Meeting 

    8th November – Departmental Boards Meetings

    11th November – Resumption and Commencement of Lectures for Returning Special Direct Entry Students

    11th – 25th November – Course Registration for Special Direct Entry Students

    13th November – Resumption for 100-200 Level Students 

    14th-18th November – Orientation/Registration for Newly Admitted Students, Resumption for new Postgraduate students

    16th November – Student Disciplinary Committee Meeting

    17th November – Campus Development Committee Meeting

    15th November – College Boards Meetings

    21st November – Commencement of Lectures for 100-200Level Students 

    22nd November – Committee of Deans and Directors Meeting

    21st– 23rd November – College of Engineering College Conference and Lecture

    24th November – Senate Meeting

    26th November-16th December – Commencement and end of Late Course Registration,

    Late Registration Portal Closes for Special Direct Entry students on Midnight, 16th December.

    5th December – Postgraduate Board Meeting

    6th December – Departmental Boards Meetings

    8th December -14th January – Close of Registration for returning and new Postgraduate Students

    Late Registration Penalty Commence(N50,000)

    13th December – College Boards Meetings

    15th December – Campus Development Committee Meeting 

    17th December – 6th January – Christmas Break

    8th January – Resumption After Christmas Break

    Students (300-500 Level) must have paid at least 60% of School Fees to be Allowed into School on Sunday, 8th January.

    9th-13th January – Mid-Semester Examinations for all Students

    Generation of final Examination Attendance Sheet by Departments for 300-500 Level Students

    Results to be considered by Departmental and College Boards of Examiners

    14th January – Matriculation for New Undergraduate, Special Direct Entry, and Postgraduate Students 10:00 am for Undergraduates, 12:00 noon for SDE and Postgraduates.

    19th January – Campus Development Committee Meeting

    23rd-27th January – Continuous Assessment for 100-200 Level Students, Revision week for 300-500 Level Students, Results to be considered by Departmental and College Boards of Examiners, Students whose names are not on the Attendance List will not be eligible for examination.

    25th January – COLNAS College Lecture, Seminar on Examination for Invigilators

    26th January – Senate Meeting, Seminar for Students on Examinations

    27th January – All newly Admitted Students (100-200Level) Must Have Paid At Least 60% of School Fees.

    Students Who have not paid 60% of their School Fees Must Defer the Semester.

    30th January -17th February -First Semester Examination for 300-500 Level Students

    31st January – Seminar for Newly Employed Staff

    13th-17th February – Generation of final Examination Attendance Sheet by Departments for 100-200 Level Students,

    Students whose names are not on the Attendance list will not be eligible for examination.

    16th February – Campus Development Committee Meeting

     20th February-3rd March – Marking and collation of Examination Results for 300-500 Level Students

     24th February – Departmental Boards of Examiners Meeting for Consideration of 300-500 Level Raw Score Results

    27th February – Upload of Results by Lecturers

    28th February -1st March – Departmental Boards of Examiners Meeting for Consideration of 300-500 Level Examination Results.

    2nd -3rd March – College Boards of Examiners Meeting for Consideration of 300-500 Level Examination Results

    5th March – Benefactors Day

    6th -7th March – Committee of Deans and Directors Meeting for Consideration of 300-500 Level Examination Results

    8th March – Bursary Department Lecture

     9th -10th March – Special Senate Meeting for Consideration of 300-500 Level Examination Results

    All Special Direct Entry Students must have paid a minimum of 60% of their fees (10th March)

    13th-17th March – Revision week for 100-200 Level Students

     16th March – Campus Development Committee Meeting

     17th-23rd March – Revision Week for Special Direct Entry Students

     20th March-4th April – First Semester Examinations for 100-200 Level Students and Postgraduate Students

     29th March –  Student Affairs Counselling Unit Seminar

     24th March-16th April  -First Semester Examinations for Special Direct Entry Students

     30th March – Senate Meeting

    Second Semester (19th March – 31st August 2025)
